Did you know the life of a well maintained used pumping unit is over 15 years?
Used pumping units will need the same maintenance that a new unit would require. For used units, repairs will almost always be identical to those necessary on brand new unit. Grease for the bearings, crank pins, and other parts will be needed and eventually these parts will need to be replaced. As long as your pumping units are operated according to API limits for load, it is likely you will see little difference in the life of a used pump jack versus that of a brand new one.
